We just saw where Arlene had passed away, so sorry to hear this, can remember all the fun at Fellowship Baptist Church, when you lived right in the backyard. How the boys, Dave, Sean, & Freddie would get in trouble when Joe was preaching. Your mom, was always so pleasant, when she worked at the hospital, she always had a smile on her face. Our prayers are with all of you kids, Carolyn, Becki, & Freddie, you had a special mom. You know she is with her Heavenly Father. Jim & Jolene

My sympathy goes to Carolyn, Becki, Fred, and all of Arlene's family. Arlene and I were very special friends from childhood and throughout all our lives. We both went through the 8th grade in country schools--Arlene at Belleview School and I went to Scott School and our 8th grade graduation ceremony was held at Bailey Country School--all in Sumner County, Kansas. We both graduated with the 1956 Caldwell High School Class. We even both graduated from Kansas State Teachers' College in Emporia, Kansas. Arlene was such a very, very special person. She had such a very good attitude. Carolyn, Becki, and Fred, you truly had a wonderful mother. My love goes to all of you.

Our thoughts are with Arlene's children and grandchildren. Rarely got to see and visit Arlene except for annual extended family functions. However, Arlene was always welcoming and genuinely interested in others. One of the friendliest people I've known. Talking with her was a pleasure as she was very interested in civic matters and the common good of all.
