Betty Thomas, 83, cook, died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her residence in Harper, Kansas.
Betty, the daughter of Sanford and Maude (Koeppen) Burk was born May 14, 1934 at Attica, Kansas.
She worked as a cook, cashier, cosmetologist, and also cooked at the Medford Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Maude Burk; brother, Johnny Burk and sister-in-law, Linda (Miche) Burk.
Betty is survived by her husband, Robert Thomas of Harper; son, Charles Ruff of Oklahoma, Warren Thomas (Christina Duvall) of Harper; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and no service is being planned.
