Brenda K. Cook, 60, of South Haven, Kansas, passed away on December 10, 2025. Brenda was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joys in life were her family and her animals. She had a deep passion for horses and cared for them with unwavering devotion. Her love for animals was unmatched, and they held a special place in her heart.
Brenda met her husband, Bobby Cook, while working as a brake operator, him an inspector and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. She was the proud mother of Isabella Cook and the cherished grandmother of Eli Weber. Brenda was thrilled to know that another grandchild was on the way, and her family was truly her pride and joy.
She was born in Clovis N. M., to the late John and Dona Pounds (Carmicheal) brother Britton Pounds. She is survived by her husband Bobby Cook, daughter Izzy Cook, and grandson Eli Weber. Her sisters, Karen Pounds Dillard, Pat and Joe Gordon, and Kathy and Jerry Evans, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and many friends. Brenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Brenda will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the lives of those she touched.
Following cremation, services will be held at a later date where friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate her life, remembering the warmth, kindness, and love she shared with everyone around her.
