Charles Duane Ruff of Harper, Kansas passed from this life at Via Christi Saint Francis campus due to injuries sustained in an auto accident near Hutchinson on May 18th 2019. Charles was born on November 20th, 1969 at Caldwell Kansas to Allen Duane Ruff and Betty Charlene Burk and was raised in both Oklahoma and Kansas where he enjoyed helping his grandparents on the farm. Charles attended schools in several communities in Kansas and Oklahoma receiving a high school diploma in Oklahoma.
Charles enjoyed the farm life as a young man later on working in plumbing and electrical and was employed with Wolf retail solutions.
Charles is preceded in death by his grandparents Sanford and Maude Burk, and his mother Betty Burk Thomas.
He is survived by his girlfriend Lisa Moreno from Harper, KS. his son Austin and his daughters Kiri Selman of McPherson, KS and Jessica Marin and husband Adrian of Enid, Ok. 7 precious grandchildren his stepfather Bob Thomas and one brother Warren Thomas and wife Christina of Harper. Charlie deeply loved life spending time with family and friends and especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place.
Celebration of life will be held at 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Cobblestone Inn, Harper, KS. Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Schaeffer Mortuary, 6 N. Main, Caldwell, Kansas.
