Fredrick David Nulik passed away on March 22, 2020 at the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield, Kansas. He was born on August 25, 1930 in Wellington, KS to Fredrick W. and Pauline (Jenista) Nulik.
David graduated from Caldwell High School in 1948 and farmed with his dad until he entered the Army in March 1952 and served in Korea approximately one year in the Quartermaster. He was Honorably Discharged in March 1954.
When David returned from the Army he returned to farming. He loved to garden and planted a tree every year he lived at his farm. If you drove by his place in the country, you were impressed with how meticulous it was. He retired at the age of 65 and moved to Arkansas City, Kansas. In Arkansas City, David became a member and was baptized at the Random Road Church.
David is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents J.F. and Anna (Bruey) Nulik, J.R. and Lydia (Kubik) Jenista.
He is survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Czechoslovakian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Czechoslovakian Cemetery and sent in care of the mortuary.
