Harold Justice Adams was born January 23, 1928 to Walter and Victoria (Means) Adams in Swifton, Arkansas. Harold was a retired construction worker and full time fisherman, often being found at the Wellington Lake.
Harold married Shirley Cadek on Jan. 27, 1973 in Wichita, Ks. They moved to South Haven that year and have made their home there ever since.
Following a brief battle with lung cancer, Harold passed away early Sunday morning, July 14, 2013 in the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and one grandson.
Survivors include his wife Shirley of the home; daughter, Helen Colona of Wichita; two sons, Luther (Donna) Adams and Ron Adams of Stanwood, Washington; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Czechoslovakian Cemetery, west of Caldwell.
Memorials may be given to the Rivercross Hospice or the Friendship Meals in your community.
