Juanita Wencl was born July 22, 1926 to Paul and Della (Cooper) Walle in Wichita, Kansas.
She was baptized in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at the age of two months and confirmed in the church at twelve years old. Juanita went to the Lutheran School until it closed when she was in the fourth grade. She then attended Kellogg School, Roosevelt Intermediate School and then East High School.
After High School she got a job and went to night school to get her diploma for Dental Assistant, Lab Tech and Hygienist.
Juanita and Bob Wencl were married July 10, 1950 at Raton, New Mexico. They moved to the Wencl farm in 1951. She helped Bob farm, raising wheat and cattle. They had four children, Bryon, Janis, Jeannie and Jacqueline.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Della Walle; husband, Robert “Bob” Wencl; two sisters, Mable Sider, Joan Scott and a nephew Mark Nester.
She is survived by her son Bryon Wencl and wife Wanda; daughters, Janis Anthony and her husband Loren, Jeannie Wencl, Jacqueline Hicks and her husband Scott; two grandchildren, Delton and Melanie Wencl and nephew Alan Scott, many friends and her companion of twenty years, Seven.
Juanita will be put to rest in the Czechoslovakian Cemetery west of Caldwell.
Following cremation a private family service will be held.
