Leonard Lue Berline was born September 29, 1933 in Caldwell, Kansas and died July 23, 2013 at his home in Caldwell. He was 79 years old.
Leonard attended Caldwell High School, graduating in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army in the 1950s, moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1958 and served on the fire department for 20 years. He retired and lived briefly in Show Low, Arizona before returning to Caldwell about ten years ago.
Leonard loved music, golf and playing dominoes.
He is survived by his daughter Bonnie Darby and son Bruce Berline and grandson Matthew Berline, sisters Eleanor Patton, Janice Byford and brother Byron Berline, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
A memorial will be set up in Leonards name at the Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival Golf Tournament.
