Lula Bell Cowell, 86, of Caldwell, Kansas passed away on Thursday afternoon, November 12, 2020.
She was born the daughter of Mead and Opal Kustanborter on September 12, 1934 in Delaware County, Oklahoma.
Lula married Charles A. Cowell on November 28, 1954. To this union was born Randy A. Cowell and Pamela J. (Cowell) Friend.
Lula was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed bowling and won several trophies. She taught Sunday School and was a Christian who raised her children in the faith.
Lula was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Mable, Nellie, Martha, Purl, Geneva, Juanita and Nathan.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Caldwell, son, Randy A. Cowell of Wichita, daughter, Pamela J. and Jimmy Friend Sr. of Caldwell; sisters, Julia Anderson of Watts, OK., Hattie Maxwell of Siloam Springs, OK; grandchildren, Jeremy Cowell of Wichita, Jimmy Friend Jr. of Caldwell, Christel and Eric Gallant of Medford, OK., Victoria and Jon Kiel of Clinton OK., Kali Friend of Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Lexi and Kylee Reilly of Medford, OK., Nathaniel Friend of Caldwell, Jonah Kiel of Clinton, OK., Tristian Friend of Wellington, KS., unborn Gracely Wilson of Caldwell and baby Kiel of Clinton, OK.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Caldwell City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the organization of donors choice and sent in care of the mortuary.
