Marti Ellen Cureington was born April 25, 1943 in Jena, Louisiana and has resided in Caldwell, Kansas the past several years with her sons Dwain Harbison and Arthur David Harbison, Jr. Shortly after JR’s death in Sept. 2017, Marti entered the Botkin Health and Rehab in Wellington, Ks where she passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018. She was 75.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Marti was a huge staple in my life for many years. She taught me how to make pork chops, fried potatoes, her famous tacos and beans and her chicken fried steak. We had some wonderful times together, great talks, and celebrated special occasions. She loved her kids and grandkids to pieces. She will be missed so much. Love you Marti. Marti always had a kind word and a gracious heart. She was such a wonderful friend to my Mom. They would laugh and giggle in every phone conversation. Marti was full of joy. Sorry for your loss, she will be missed. Your Mom was such a gift to everyone and a wonderful friend.
