Rest in peace Neal. It was good to have known you throughout my life. Many years ago (around 35 as best I remember) our paths first crossed, then on and off through time we would meet up again. I remember you mostly as an energetic, vibrant, happy person who didn't let people get you down. I wish you had been blessed with many more years on this earth than what you received but, to me, you lived these in a way that said you enjoyed life and you chose to be happy. I hope your family can take comfort in the knowledge that you lived, loved, and laughed your way through the days you received. Our family prays for comfort to those you leave behind. Our hearts are strained and our prayers are for you.

My sorrow and heart go out to Neal's family and close ones. Neal had a contagious joy and optimism that easily spread to those around him to make them feel the same. You were taken way to soon brother, but I'm so fortunate to have known you for the time I did. May you rest in peace and your spirit live on.

I just found out about Neal's death....I actually texted him today not knowing and found out about an hour later that he had died. Neal was such a good friend to me...we became friends in 2003 and had so many good times together....I was with the Black Oak Striders and of course he wore yellow for the Yunkers and I always told him he needed to get a black shirt....he would always ask me to go riding with me when it was nice...i'm going to miss his phone calls and text and just talking him...RIP Neal....I still have the birthday gift you gave me and will always keep it....
