Ronald (Ron) Ferguson of Wellington, Ks. passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at his residence in Wellington, KS at the age of 73.
Ron was born the son of Bunny (Allen) Young on October 29, 1940 in Wichita, Ks. He was adopted by Lucille and Arthur Ferguson.
Ron married Marlene Manuel in 1958, to this union were born Lorie Applegate, Ronnie Ferguson, William Ferguson and Doris Downum. In 1972 he married Ronalda (Roni) Edelman along with her daughters, Tonia (Russell) Sturm and Peggy (Dallas) Gilmore. Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage.
He leaves behind a sister Dixie (Roger) Metzinger, mother-in-law Marjorie (Edelman) Schmidt, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren to morn his memory.
Preceding him in death were his parents, son William, and son-in-law Mike Downum.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Caldwell City Cemetery.
Memorial’s may be left to the Wellington Humane Society or River Cross Hospice.

what fun the ferguson's and mcgregor's had raising our kids..lots of memories...so sad to loose a loved one but he is free of pain... heaven will never be the same.... love to all.....the McGregor tribe.

Roni, I was shocked to read about Ron. I'm so sorry for your loss, life will be different for you but you have so many friends and family that will always be there for you and your family.
