Ted Cladinos was born on September 22nd 1950 in North Platte, Nebraska to parents Sammy and Delpha Cladinos.
A proud Nebraska native, Ted had a wonderful childhood with his siblings growing up and living at the lake. From skiing, playing cards, and common mischief, Ted always knew how to have a good time.
Later in life Ted moved to Oklahoma and had two boys, Barry and Sammy Cladinos. He soon took up a love for trucking, and travelled most of the country. Ted started working for Bruce Willey trucking in the early 80's, where he met Frank Day, who would later become his father in law. Ted and Diane Day lived in Enid, Oklahoma with their children Charlie, Tosha, and Ashlie.
In 1996 Ted and family moved to Caldwell, Ks where he would reside until his death. Ted loved the people of the community, and never missed an opportunity to share a smile. Before Ted became ill, he started driving the bus for Caldwell, and quickly fell in love. He rarely missed a game, even after he was diagnosed with cancer. He supported and loved the team as if they were all his own.
Ted was a loving, generous, and strong man who always had a way of pushing on. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, and ability to make the best out of any situation. Ted was a great example of what it meant to have the perfect balance of how to remain strong, but always be kind.
Ted passed away peacefully in his home on February 10th after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Sammy and Delpha. His wife, Diane Cladinos. Son, Barry Cladinos. Brother Sammy Cladinos, and Sister Dee Cladinos. Nephew, Damon Cladinos, and niece Anita Brunscher.
Ted leaves behind five children, Sammy Cladinos of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Charlie Sawyer of Caldwell, Ks. Tosha Sawyer of Wichita, Ks, and Ashlie Cladinos and Caleb Wilson, Caldwell, Ks. Brother Nick Cladinos of Long Beach California, and many more friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Caldwell United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made in Ted's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Assoc. and sent in care of the mortuary.

Please know how very sad I am with the passing of Ted. I am so thankful that we got to re-connect after all these years. He was a true friend and did so much for me when I was a 16-17 year old kid. We have some wild stories, some you have heard, some you haven't, and some that will now forever be just ours.
I hope you all know how very much he loved all of you. Every time we spoke he told me so, and he also told me to make sure to tell my family every chance I got how much I love them. He said "if you don't have love for your family and friends, you have nothing".
It absolutely broke my heart to leave Caldwell Monday afternoon, but at the same time I was thankful to have the chance tell my friend good bye. I knew when I did it was a forever thing.
I am sorry that I will not be able to attend his services, as much as I want to. I will be in Omaha having a shoulder surgery.
Please stay in touch. Give each other a big hug from me, and again, I am so sorry, but he is in a better place now. I loved that man.
